Curious about tattoo-world culture? Check out this podcast featuring influential tattoo artist Doug Hardy talk about his work at Tattoo City in San Francisco and his life coming-up at China Sea under Mike “Rollo” Malone in Sailor Jerrys old shop. Also get some insights about tatoo history, tech and the day-to-day business grind. Cool stuff.

I don’t usually “name drop”, but Doug Hardy is our cousin and I want people to know more about his work. Dougs father is world-famous tatoo artist Don Ed Hardy, who’s work is mostly known in pop-culture by the line of bro-wear t-shirts featuring his name and work, for which he was never fairly compensated. Doug did not study under his dad though, he apprenticed in Hawaii with Mike Malone at China Sea and built his own career there and in Minnesota before joining his dads shop in SF in 2009. Check it out!
