Cleaned the last plant of the harvest, plant #3. This plant was also covered in the same bugs, which after doing a little research turned out to be aphids. Aphids are not really bad, although they can multiply fast and can eat the plant. Also, they are a pain to deal with during harvest. Next year I will be more diligent.

It’s supposed to get down below freezing by 6am and then snow. I put plants 3, 4 and #5 inside tonight.

Last night was the first time this season that the temperature dropped below freezing, only for about 2 hours. Some of the plants purpled. I observed the following:
